January 19-22, 2012, Novi, MI Michigan Winter Classic AKC Show/ Working Trials Cluster.
This weekend was a real Rally marathon for Milana (CKC Ch. MidnightSolo Unity for Zastava, CGC, TT, AKC RE, CKC RN) and me. For 4 days in a row, from Thursday to Sunday we participated in 7 Rally trials, going in two classes in each trial in order to finish her AKC RAE title which requires 10 legs (1 leg is a qualifying scores in both Excellent and Advanced classes at the same trial).Milana already had 3 legs toward the title but we still needed 7 more and we went for them :) In 7 trials we competed 14 times ,earned 14 QS , 11 placements in Excellent and Advanced classes and finished AKC RAE title !!! (Full information on scores and placement you can see at Milana’s Achievements page.)
I am so proud of my girl. I am really impressed by her desire to work and her stamina. We were working in crowded place, with huge amount of people and dogs around, we were tired (and yes, few little mistakes we did were mostly mine- so many course maps can definitely make a mess in your head, I have to tell you! LOL), but Milana was excellent.
And beside for the finished title, placement’s ribbons and great result of the show I really want to thank my Milana for the joy of working with her, she is such a good sport, my girl! Our thanks and congratulations to Milana’s breeders Jean & Troy Brown , owners of Rusah, Milana’s mother and Debby and Ken Lynn, owners of Milana’s father Onyx ! Thanks to all our friends for wishing us good luck and sending congratulations on title!
